#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Austin Kittrell (COM’27). Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Austin is double majoring in Economics and Journalism. Here at BU, he has found a passion for storytelling and exploring the intersection of communications, law, and identity. You may see Austin reporting on modern developments in business and technology for BU TV (butv10), as well as writing about campus and city news for The Daily Free Press (dailyfreepress). His journey through BU also encompasses creating identities and building community on campus through the Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (17thhousealphas). When asked why he cofounded Soulaan (soulaan_bu), Austin says, “I saw other Generational Black Americans looking for a place to honor our culture, so I thought to myself, ‘Why not just make it?’” Follow along today as Austin (thereal.akittrell_) takes over our Instagram!
