The Best Fans in the World. Back in 2018, Peru became the first country in the world to win the FIFA Fan Award. Since then, their national team has gone through many ups and downs, but through it all, their fans have remained some of the most fervent in South America and beyond. So with Peru facing the USMNT in Orlando last weekend, we drove down to Florida to meet with Peruvian fans, who’d traveled from Lima and all over the U.S., to learn more about what makes them so passionate.
