Boston, here’s a good excuse to make a trip across the river this week.

MIT Museum is offering free admission from September 30 through October 4 as MIT hosts the inaugural Future Fest, a five-day celebration of science, technology, art and design.

The larger festival includes more than 50 talks, tours, performances, exhibitions, installations and open labs across MIT’s campus. Festival passes are already sold out, but you can still visit the MIT Museum for free throughout the entire event.

The week also wraps with the Cambridge Science Carnival on October 4, featuring hands-on installations and interactive experiments for all ages.

By the way, we have a weekly newsletter rounding up what’s worth doing and knowing about in Boston. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio.
