Just so we’re clear, this isn’t actually how I made this logo. 

The real thing took weeks and weeks, went through three rounds of amends and multiple sign off phases. 

But I wanted to show the simplicity of this idea, and how the crescent sitting over the of of the C was eventually put together, and how the shapebuilder tool came in handy here. 

If you haven’t used the shapebuilder before, press SHIFT+M, then with multiple shapes selected you can hold down ALT/OPT to remove material. Or click and drag between shapes to combine them. It’s like an advanced pathfinder tool. 

P.S. Is anyone else also obsessed with this tune from Pluribus? I can’t get enough of it.
