Authority bias? Ever heard of it? 

As a designer, it can be really tough to take negative feedback from a non-designer. Our brains are hardwired to prioritise feedback from an ‘authority’. Even if the feedback from a non-designer was exactly the same, we’d still value the feedback less, or take it less seriously than from another designer. 

Now, client or non-designer feedback is SO important, because they are the customers or real-world people who will see a logo at surface value. 

But BEFORE the client sees it, wouldn’t it be nice if there was a place where you could share your work and get some initial feedback?
