Did you know you can find a herd of bison roaming around Catalina Island? 🦬 There’s a pretty fascinating Hollywood story behind it, too. In 1924, 14 bison were brought to the island for the filming of a silent Western movie, and when filming wrapped, the island’s owner, William Wrigley Jr., allowed them to stay. 🎥 Some years later, another dozen were brought in to help grow the population! 😮

Since then, the herd has grown, and today, around 150 bison roam the island. 🏝️ You can see them on a guided bison expedition that takes you through the park’s wild landscapes—with epic Catalina views along the way. 🚙 Would you take this unique tour? ☀️
