#ParisFashionWeek, day three: From the collectible prints of #DriesVanNoten to the maximum sexiness of #TomFord, here are the key moments from the third day of Paris Fashion Week.

For his debut show at Courreges,DrewHenry immersed himself in the archives, explored the very early ’60s, and played with knitwear and colors.

AntoninTron’s second collection for Balmain featured sophisticatedly sexy garments: loosened-girdle mini skirts, corset-built tops, ruched dresses and pieces of draped jersey that seemed caught somewhere between being dressed and not-quite-so.

JulianKlausner’s new spring collection for DriesVanNoten was his best yet: confident, colorful, and full of collectible prints. His contributions to the great skirt resurgence included slimmer versions with retro prints.

The StellaMcCartney show mixed environmental polemics related to ocean conservation with a gentle cruise through many of McCartney’s greatest hits, resurfacing archival silhouettes, prints, and techniques from previous collections.

This season’s AcneStudios collection, entitled ‘Denim Hystoria’, worked to enmesh the brand’s own history with a broader survey of the past. There were jaunty puffed skirts and open-backed peplums; smocked tops; tiny cropped caban jackets that exposed plenty of lower back; pink leather capri pants; cute, cropped breeches; and long trenches pulled together with double belts.

In his fourth collection for TomFord, Haider h.a pushed the sexy factor to the max. #TateMcRae and #Shakira joined a star-studded front row. It reached its climax with a series of barely there black bathing suits, engineered for maximum exposure and designed more for posing than for doing laps.

Vaquera.nyc designers Bryn Taubensee and Patric DiCaprio wanted to stay true to themselves this season, after five years of showing in Paris. The designers finished their show of ‘20s and ‘30s character archetypes by serenading the audience with Sonny & Cher’s “I Got You Babe”.

AugustBarron staged their annual, buzzy, off-schedule show, this time with a fantastical slant. Confetti and glitter fell from the ceiling, and the collection’s vibe was “prom in a gym hall meets princess ’70
