100 ml water

500 ml whole milk

Pinch of salt

1 vanilla bean

To Finish the Risalamande

50 g blanched almonds

250 ml heavy whipping cream

2–3 tbsp sugar

Cherry Sauce

300 g frozen or fresh pitted sour cherries

100 ml water

60–75 g sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

1½ tbsp cold water

1 tsp lemon juice
