On October 1, 2026, Red Bull paramotor pilot Dimitris Kolliakos performed a historic aerial stunt around Toronto’s CN Tower, launching from Billy Bishop Airport for an early morning flight. The 30-minute demonstration featured advanced aerobatics around the upper levels of the structure, serving as the official kickoff for the landmark’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Executing the high-risk performance required over a year of meticulous planning and coordination with aviation safety professionals, Toronto Fire, and Toronto Police. Kolliakos concluded the flight by landing safely following the tightly managed downtown demonstration. You can read more about this stunt through local news coverage.
