## Caption

Excited to share a few impressions from my recent exhibition at westbundartfair 2025, where I exhibited with carteblanchegallery for the first time in mainland China.

It was a meaningful moment to see my work resonate in this setting and to open a new dialogue in Shanghai’s vibrant art environment.

Bringing together three strands of my practice through a glass portrait of Hou Yi, inspired by the legendary archer and the tension between myth and material; Sun of Hou Yi, a sculpture reflecting on energy, light and the fragile impulse of creation; and a new group of abstract works that mark my shift into a freer language of rhythm and luminosity, moving beyond the human face.

West Bund Art & Design, Shanghai
November 13–18, 2025
Presented by carteblanchegallery
In collaboration with florianpaulkoenig and noa.contemporary
