## Caption

Instagram is rolling out an AI video editor for creators, bringing generative video capabilities directly into the platform.

That matters beyond Instagram.

For the last few years, AI creation required creators to leave the social platform, generate or edit somewhere else, then bring the finished product back. That workflow is beginning to collapse.

The next phase of social media could look very different: imagine it, generate it, edit it, publish it and distribute it without ever leaving the platform.

AI is not just changing what gets created. It is swallowing the creative stack itself.
