Let’s take this multiple caption format for a spin 👉 Swipe through just some of the amazing things FIFPRO Global Player Council members have been up to over the last 12 months ❤️

Leicy Santos. Helping Colombia win the CONMEBOL Women’s Nations League was only part of Leicy’s year. Through Fundación Leicy Santos and other initiatives, she has continued creating opportunities for young people in Colombia and supporting communities at home and in Washington DC.

Lucy Bronze. A record eighth #World11 selection, another trophy with Chelsea and plenty beyond football. Lucy also travelled to Colombia with UNHCR and continued using her platform to raise awareness around autism, ADHD, and neurodiversity. As the longest-serving member of the Global Player Council, Lucy continues to bring her experience and perspective to FIFPRO’s work, most recently joining fellow players at the Women’s Player Summit in Oslo.

Alexis Mac Allister. Another World Cup final with Argentina, and some special moments away from the pitch. Alexis surprised a 90-year-old walking footballer through the LFC Foundation and donated one of his World Cup shirts to help raise funds for volunteer firefighters in La Pampa.

Vivianne Miedema. A domestic double with Manchester City and a historic 100th international goal for the Netherlands. Vivianne also continued her long-standing support for War Child, launching the War S*cks fundraising campaign. Through the Global Player Council, she has also shared her perspective on the future of the women’s international match calendar.

Antoine Semenyo. FA Cup winner. League Cup winner. PFA Team of the Year. And away from the pitch, Antoine became a Bridge the Gap ambassador, helping create football communities where young people can explore faith.

Roberto “Pico” Lopes. Pico captained Shamrock Rovers to a league and cup double and helped Cape Verde make history at their first World Cup. He also became PFA Ireland chair and helped launch GOAL Jersey Day 2026. Quite the year across club, country, and community. He also featured in FIFPRO’s Footballers Unfiltered Road to the World Cup series, using the platform to speak about the importance of collective player repre
