Can't pay your IRS tax debt and feel like you're out of options? In this video, I respond to a viewer living on survivor benefits and explain why limited income and assets can change the tax relief options worth considering.

I cover when Social Security survivor benefits may be taxable, why reaching retirement age doesn't automatically exempt you from federal income tax, and how an offer in compromise compares with currently not collectible (CNC) status.

An offer in compromise isn't available to everyone, and CNC status doesn't erase your tax debt. Your income, necessary living expenses, assets, and full tax situation matter. Even if you don't qualify for a settlement, there may be another workable way forward.

Do you owe the IRS or your state at least $10,000 in back taxes, or do you have multiple years of unfiled returns that you need to get filed? Book a free consultation with Choice Tax Relief:
