It's #TeacherTuesday! Today, we are highlighting Ms. Brooke O'Gara, a Math teacher at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.

Teaching Geometry and Honors Geometry, this longtime LVA educator is halfway through her 28th year in education, all with CCSD, and has been part of the LVA family since 2009! LVA had intrigued her from early in her career. “I loved the idea of working with students so talented in the arts. I was so excited when I was hired to teach here!”

Her favorite part of the job is working with young, bright minds, and her coworkers. She says she genuinely loves coming to work every day. If she could have one work superpower, it would be simple: the ability to motivate every student to try their best!

Thank you for everything you do, Ms. O'Gara!
