Attendees gather at the ninth annual Arapahoe High School Charity Car Show Oct. 3 in the east parking lot. The event was organized by Social Studies and Car Culture Club Sponsor, Jeremy Hawthorne. The winning vehicle was a Chevrolet 3100 truck owned by the family of Grant McDowell ‘29, and proceeds from the event will benefit the AHS Holiday Toy Drive. “It feels pretty good. I definitely didn’t expect it, but it’s definitely cool,” McDowell said. “I expected a good time and to see a lot of cool cars, but it was definitely a bigger turnout than I expected.”
