Today is my mom Joanne Kleinstein's 75th birthday!

Historically, FB was where everyone said their obligatory Happy B-day posts. But these days, we do work stuff here. So I get to share a bit about her career journey, because it brings me joy to think about.

First, she was a social worker (and a damn good one) in Toronto.
She went into Real Estate, and became one of the top realtors in the city.

We moved to Denver, and she became an entrepreneur. If you knew her, you knew these adventures:
- A branded fanny pack business for resorts in the mountains
- A pashmina business (from our basement)
- A very-real-clearly-not-counterfeit purse business (also from our basement, and people still come up to me to tell me stories about coming to our house to buy them)
- Many other adventures and pursuits that she can tell you about

She then went back into real estate, and has spent over many years as one of the top realtors in Denver. She leads with empathy, kindness, and building real relationships/friendships with her clients. She's at milehimodern, where everyone knows her as the type of person to just show up at their house with a loaf of bread, or a gift to an old client because something "just reminded her of them." She works with so many of my friends, that I constantly get texts saying "oh, I was just hanging out with your mom."

She's infinitely creative. She's hilarious. And she's the reason I am who I am. Love ya mom.
(and if you're buying or selling a house in Denver, you'd be crazy to not work with her)
