#whyalphagamwednesday from our abroad girly @daisyy.karoline we miss you!!!

“When I think about why I chose to join Alpha Gam, and most importantly, why I chose to stay, I think about all the acts of kindness that my sisters have shown me both while I was a PNM, and when I became an initiated member. As a PNM, I spoke to girls both very similar to me and very different, but I always felt that they were genuinely interested in what I had to say. Throughout the rounds of recruitment, Alpha Gam was where I felt I could most be myself. Within the walls of 709 Comstock, I didn’t have to worry about what I was wearing, if I was good enough, or if I had to change myself to fit into the house. After getting my bid, I knew I had made the right decision on the day I took my first composite photo. I was sitting alone in the AGD house waiting to take my photo when a senior noticed I was by myself, and came over and introduced herself to me. She didn’t have to talk to me, but that small interaction solidified that girls in Alpha Gam are the type of people who are kind just to be kind. I am forever grateful that Alpha Gam has been a part of my college experience.”
