Ask them to imagine they’re balancing on a surfboard:

Get low.
Bend your knees.
Turn side-on.
Arms out for balance.

Now challenge them to stay on their surfboard as the attacker tries to get past!

Simple pictures and analogies can make coaching points much easier for children to understand and remember.
