It was great to join tourism leaders in Breckenridge for the Colorado Governor’s Tourism Conference and celebrate the work happening across our state. Tourism is a major part of Colorado’s economy, supporting jobs, small businesses, and communities across the state. In 2025, visitors spent a record $29.2 billion in Colorado.

From outdoor recreation and our growing creative economy to world-class food and destinations across the state, there are countless reasons to visit Colorado and stay awhile. Colorado’s tourism industry continues to create opportunities in communities across the state while sharing what makes Colorado such a great place to live, work and visit.
