The Human Jukebox has always been about more than music. It’s tradition, discipline, style, culture, and excellence, and this collaboration with wsjmag gave the world another opportunity to see exactly that.

Featured in “Keeping Time With One of the Country’s Top Marching Bands,” members of the Human Jukebox stepped in front of the camera for a fashion editorial pairing our iconic Southern University uniforms and school colors with timepieces from some of the world’s most recognized watchmakers.

What makes this feature even more special is the full-circle story behind it. WSJ. Magazine Senior Men’s Fashion Market Editor rashadminnick returned to Southern University, where he once marched clarinet in the Human Jukebox, served as a section leader, and earned Bandsman of the Year.
