1 year ago, Kali Uchis released Sincerely: P.S. (Deluxe)

Kali Uchis first announced 'Sincerely: P.S.' on September 11, 2025, alongside the single 'Cry about it!' with Ravyn Lenae, with a September 26 release date. On September 24 she pushed it back to October 3 and unveiled the tracklist, and promoted it with a heart-shaped cake topped with pink glittering cherries. The deluxe edition of her fifth studio album, 'Sincerely,' came out on Capitol Records and adds five new songs to the May 9 original. It was a fitting extension of an album written and executive-produced by Kali Uchis and shaped by becoming a mother, the most intimate project of her career.

The new songs are 'Cry about it!,' 'Whispers of the Wind...,' 'Pretty Promises' with Mariah the Scientist, 'Cherry On Top,' and 'All of the Good.' 'Cry about it!' is a doo-wop-flavored duet that moves between English and Spanish, written by Kali Uchis (Karly Marina Loaiza) with Ravyn Lenae and Spencer Stewart. The original album had no guest features, making the two duets a notable addition. Its official synopsis describes the deluxe as a new collection of letters to the world, extending the idea of written correspondence that inspired 'Sincerely.'

The original 'Sincerely' reached number two on the Billboard 200, her third consecutive top-ten album, with the singles 'All I Can Say,' 'Sunshine & Rain…,' and 'ILYSMIH.' The deluxe followed The Sincerely, Tour, an arena run with Thee Sacred Souls that ended at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles the weekend before release. 'Sincerely: P.S.' gave fans a fresh look at a project that has defined this era of her career.
