“Founded in 1947 in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, Salomon has always been driven by a passion for outdoor sports. In 1957, the brand revolutionized skiing with the launch of the innovative “Skade” toe piece for ski bindings, setting the foundation for future innovations.

The late 1990s saw Salomon expanding beyond skiing with the launch of its first snowboard, TenEighty free skis, and inline skates. In 2002, the XA PRO shoe became an icon in adventure sports.
