Young Husker superfan Liam Settles passed away Friday after a courageous battle with pediatric cancer. Liam created special bonds with Husker student-athletes across every sport, bringing joy, perspective and strength to so many people around Nebraska athletics. Tight end Luke Lindenmeyer honored Liam Saturday by wearing “Dancing with Jesus, 4 Liam” on his sleeve. After the game, quarterback Anthony Colandrea spoke emotionally about Liam and the impact he made on the team. A beautiful reminder that sports are about so much more than the final score.
