Death, violence, and rodents have become a normal part of life for Lara al-Masri in Gaza.

The teenager used to live in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza before the conflict, and now she is in an overcrowded displacement camp in Gaza City.

Lara has spent the summer letting BBC Eye see her life there, from airstrikes near her school to showing the emotional toll of her father’s death.
