jazzfest Second Saturday | 05-02-26 shot on canonusa EOS 1DX MI

Only the MI today because my MII took a dive for a week, it’s all fixed now. Second Saturday was wild, the crowd was extreme and the festival sold out. Slides 3 and 16 show a good bit of that crowd. Otherwise it was a beautiful day to float around and catch what the day had to offer. 

Mixed in here are some Sauvage Fest images too. The whole informal economy that opens up outside the gates of Jazz Fest is fascinating to me. Not included in the pictures but there was a guy legitimately selling drugs on a table, not to mention all the people far more normal activities like busking, selling lemonade (presumably without drugs), and your typical “ice cold water, $1” guy.
