Welcome to the lego Botanicals Bloom Bar 🌸

I’ve been keeping a big project under wraps since November, and I can finally share it. Together with the team at hatter.agency I helped design a global brand experience for the LEGO Botanicals Valentine’s Bloom Bar. Even better, one of the spaces was brought to life right here in Amsterdam!

Yeah, just reading that back is a little wild to me, designing for LEGO, what the hellllyyyy?!

From early concepts through to the final build, plus many calls with the team at LEGO HQ, we crafted a full brand experience spanning visual identity, typography, brand guidelines, spatial graphics, and standout 3D moments including the flower bar, welcome desk, and photo booth. Honestly, can we take a second to appreciate how beautiful all the cascading floral moments throughout the space turned out? Alongside this, we developed the signage, customer journey, printed materials, and all event touchpoints. Months of ideas, testing, rendering, collaboration, and problem-solving all led to this moment.

I love working independently, but being part of a project at this scale and collaborating with so many talented creatives has been a real highlight, a pinch-me moment to go from building LEGO as a child to actually designing an experience for them.
