I realised I never actually fully introduced myself… I just kind of jumped straight into design content. Seriously, how many of you actually know me beyond “the guy who posts tutorials”? 😅

This long overdue intro was originally 15 minutes of me rambling, so I had to cut it down to a snappy reel length. Is this a sign I should make a YouTube comeback?

I’m passionate about all things design, not just graphics, shocker. I love staying home with my cats, navigating life with my health OCD (which sometimes makes work tricky when my brain hyper-focuses on something scary), freelancing with a bunch of different clients, and soaking up Amsterdam life… though I’m originally English. No, I still can’t speak Dutch, and yes, I feel terrible about it.

I honestly have no clue where the future of design is heading with AI updates flying by so fast, it’s equal parts scary and fascinating.

I used to be super ambitious, dreaming about growing a team, world domination, the works. But the older I get, the more I realise I just want a simple life and career. I feel incredibly lucky to work for myself, make money designing for clients, and share content I love. And I think I’m finally starting to understand that it’s okay to be okay with just that.

Here’s to more randomness, design obsessions, and trying to keep up with all the design updates, learning along the way, just like you guys.

And if you read this far and you like the look of the art I made in this video, tell me why you want it, I’ll pick someone and post it to you 🍋
