A few weeks ago I caught the Adobe MAX 2025 stream and saw Project Motion Map. Honestly, it felt kind of weird seeing animation inside Illustrator. You take a static vector illustration and suddenly it’s moving, no keyframes needed, just the shapes coming to life. It’s strange but exciting, like the line between static design and motion is disappearing.

It got me thinking we might be heading toward a time where Adobe could just create one main app where you can do it all instead of constantly flipping between programs. Imagine designing, animating, and laying out content in the same place. For anyone who lives in vectors and motion like I do, it’s a glimpse of what could really change workflows and open up new ways to create.

This was just a feature shown off at Adobe’s Sneaks event, so no note on when or if this will even launch, but who knows, is this something you’re interested in?
