Okay, designers, we need to talk about what just dropped in Illustrator Beta: Turntable. This thing is absolutely revolutionary, a tool that lets you rotate your 2D vector illustrations in full 3D and still have them look perfectly flat, just as they were drawn, from any new angle. No distortion. No redrawing. Just click a button, drag a slider, and watch your art pivot seamlessly into a fresh perspective. It is honestly one of the biggest design updates ever, and once you try it, nothing else will feel the same.

Imagine the possibilities: you have created an epic character, a sleek product mockup, or a lanscape scene, and now you can instantly orbit around it, seeing it from a different angle in seconds. Think of how much time this saves when you or a client asks, “Can we see that from the other side?” No boring manual edits, no extra layers, no round trip to 3D software. It feels like a magic tool that unlocks infinite viewpoints with zero effort. My kind of update!

This is the moment illustration tools truly evolve. It shifts how we visualise, tweak, and present our work for good. The way it preserves shape, style, and artistic integrity while letting us spin things into brand new angles is pure designer heaven lol. The illustration industry is on the brink of a major leap forward. Time saved, creativity elevated, workflows transformed, that is exactly what this tool brings to the table.

I still need to really put it through the test but from my first try, it’s amazing.
