WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR PEOPLE TO DECIDE TO DO BETTER? 💔 This image isn't just of a beautiful natural waterfall - this is a representation from my first time in Oregon's Columbia River George, which introduced me to a place full of life, tranquility, and so much lush greenery for the soul. It is of what used to be, and what it will be again, in time. I'll never forget each joyful & healing experience spent here. It's heartbreaking to know that over 10,000 of your acres are up in flames because of human carelessness. What's worse, lives were put at risk. Knowledge is accessible - so for those who enjoy spending time outside, let's continue to EDUCATE ourselves & others, practice the LEAVE NO TRACE policy, help spread SAFETY AWARENESS, and RESPECT the rules in place. Know what BURN BANS mean and where & why they're placed. Don't be afraid to CALL OUT & REPORT those who pose a threat by making poor choices. It really just takes that one person to change everything in the blink of an eye. Let's all remember that nature is something that always gives back without ever asking anything in return. Gratitude to all firefighters working tirelessly and lots of love to all communities affected. 🙏🏼🌏💚#eaglecreekfire
