it is with culmination of excitement and sadness that i am announcing that after this weekends series against Western, i will be stepping down as social media director for the CMU D3 Hockey club.

this is a very bittersweet decision that has come after a lot of consideration and evaluation. this shift in focus is something i strongly feel is necessary in order for me to continue growing. after nearly 3 years, it is time for me to take another new step in pursuing my dreams.

come November, i will begin preparing for a life-changing opportunity to spend 3 weeks in Seoul, South Korea over winter break (more to come on that later!). upon return to school in the spring, i will be focusing a lot more of of my time, energy, and passion into the CMU Athletic department. i want to give Athletics all i got for the final stretch of my college journey, with graduation around the corner in December 2026.

i am so incredibly grateful to the club, the coaches, players, and my fellow staff members for allowing me a space where i could explore my creativity and master my craft. CMU D3 hockey will always have a very special place in my heart, and i know it is in great hands. before ever stepping foot on campus, i had found my home at Martin Ice. it has truly been an honor and privilege.

i know there are many exciting things on the horizon waiting for me, and all of the skills and lessons i have learned over the past couple years will serve me well.

thank you for all of the memories, i hope you stick around to see what’s next!

with love,

RAHsignz
