The Canada-U.S. trade war just hit the liquor shelf… ‼️👀🍺

U.S. President Donald Trump has officially moved to block certain Canadian alcoholic beverages from entering the United States.

The measure impacts many Canadian beer, wine and spirit products and comes amid an ongoing dispute over how American alcohol is treated in Canadian provinces. The Trump administration says the restrictions are a response to what it considers discriminatory treatment of U.S. alcohol producers.

For Canadian breweries and alcohol producers that rely on American customers, the move could mean losing access to a major export market and having to shift more attention toward Canadian or overseas buyers.

Canada and the U.S. have spent much of the last two years trading tariffs and restrictions across several industries, and now alcohol has officially been pulled further into the dispute.

Do you think Canada should respond, or leave it alone ⁉️🤔⤵️
