Ottawa residents are calling out a horror movie night being held inside a cemetery… 😳🪦

An upcoming outdoor screening at Beechwood Cemetery is receiving backlash online, with several residents questioning whether a cemetery should be used as a place for entertainment.

The strongest criticism is coming from people with personal connections to the cemetery. One commenter said she has a memorial to her son there and has previously contacted Beechwood over concerns about entertainment and Haunted Walks taking place on the grounds.

Others called the idea “inappropriate,” arguing that a cemetery should remain a place of remembrance and respect. The screening is scheduled for October 3 and is being hosted at Beechwood Cemetery, Canada’s national cemetery.

Do you think events like this are disrespectful, or is there nothing wrong with a cemetery hosting them? Thoughts ⁉️🤔⤵️
