This week I got the opportunity to speak for goldmansachsprivatewealth “In the Lead” in Laguna Beach, alongside Cher, Emma Grede, and a handful of other brilliant women.

I was told I’d be speaking to some of their most successful and wealthiest female clients from around the world, and you know me, I immediately wanted to know what made these women tick. How do they think? What drives them? What kind of work do they do? And yes… what were they going to wear? 😂

What I found most inspiring had nothing to do with money.

These women were incredibly passionate about the work they do. They’ve built companies, led industries and created extraordinary success, but so many of the conversations came back to the same thing: purpose. They cared deeply about using what they’ve built to give back and make a positive impact in the world.

There is nothing more energizing than being around women who are excited about what they’re creating AND who they can help along the way.

And because apparently speaking at an event like this wasn’t fancy enough, I had to helicopter out of Laguna Beach to beat the traffic and make it to my next talk. 🚁 Not a bad day at the office!

I left reminded that success isn’t just about what we build for ourselves. It’s about what we’re able to build, change and create for others along the way. ❤️
