🏍️ Watching the KTM 990 RC R TRACK come together by hand in Austria shows just how focused this machine is from the very beginning.

The track-only 990 RC R uses KTM’s 947 cc LC8c parallel-twin, tuned to produce 135 PS and 105 Nm of torque.
⠀
Compared with the road-going version, KTM strips away road equipment and unnecessary electronics to cut weight and sharpen the bike specifically for circuit use.
⠀
At just 170 kg without fuel, it also gets fully adjustable WP APEX suspension, Brembo braking hardware and Michelin Power Slick 2 tires.

KTM says production of the 990 RC R TRACK was scheduled for February through April 2026, with each bike built around the brand’s READY TO RACE philosophy.
