bro started from p19 and still won 😂 Kimi Antonelli finding out from the interviewer that he’s actually starting P3 is priceless.

Antonelli qualified fourth at Sepang, but Isack Hadjar’s five-place grid penalty promoted the Mercedes driver to third for Sunday’s race.

The funny part is that Kimi clearly thought he was still starting P4 until the interviewer reminded him about Hadjar’s penalty.

That instantly turned a frustrating qualifying session into much better news after Antonelli had already lost a Q2 lap to track limits and burned an extra set of soft tyres.

He had topped FP3 earlier in the day, so starting from the second row still gives him a strong position for the race.
