🔥 BMW M just built its 1,000,000th High Performance vehicle, and fittingly, the milestone car is an M3.

The one-millionth car is a BMW M3 Competition finished in BMW Individual Fire Orange III and was assembled at BMW Group Plant Munich.

The milestone arrives 40 years after the original E30 M3 first launched, connecting one of BMW M’s most iconic models directly to its modern successor.

BMW M has now spent more than five decades building road cars with strong links to motorsport, beginning with the company’s founding in 1972.
⠀
The Munich plant will also build the first fully electric BMW M3 from 2027 as BMW transitions the site toward exclusively electric vehicle production.

BMW says around €650 million has been invested in transforming the historic Munich factory for that next generation of production.
