The new 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 proves the V12 luxury sedan is still very much alive.

Under the hood is a handcrafted 6.0-liter biturbo V12 producing 621 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque.

Power goes through a 9-speed automatic transmission to 4MATIC all-wheel drive, with Mercedes estimating 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.

The updated S 680 also gets a larger illuminated Maybach grille, revised lighting, new wheel designs and an even more extensive range of personalization options.

Inside, the flagship sedan features the new MBUX Superscreen, dual 13.1-inch rear displays, executive seating and available luxury touches like a refrigerated compartment and silver-plated champagne flutes.

For 2027, Mercedes-Benz lists the S 680 at a starting MSRP of $247,450 in the United States.
