The new BMW i3 50 xDrive introduces some of BMW’s most advanced EV technology yet, built around its next-generation Neue Klasse architecture.

Its sixth-generation eDrive technology combines new electric motors with an 800-volt electrical system and cylindrical battery cells designed to improve efficiency, charging performance and range.

BMW says the i3 50 xDrive can achieve up to 912 km, or about 567 miles, of WLTP range depending on configuration.

The new electronics architecture also uses four high-performance computers, including BMW’s “Heart of Joy,” which integrates drivetrain and driving-dynamics control for faster, more precise responses.
