And just like that, they are half a year!

This last month was easily the most challenging days I’ve experienced as a parent. Double the sickness. Double the sleepless nights. Double the worry. Double the clogged ducts. I was in pure survival mode. 

But it was also a month full of thriving for the boys. They are totally on the move as they have figured out how to maneuver and propel themselves forward. They are continuing to grow leaps and bounds, all from exclusively breastfeeding. 

This last month has also been the epitome of my learning to lean on community — to trust my village will show up for me, that asking for help is a sign of strength. So while I don’t have the breadth and depth to truly express my gratitude, I’ll start here:

loveofalittleone for answering all my erratic messages and questions to clear my clogged ducts and support my breastfeeding journey

motherthemamas for being a remarkable human being and friend who also happens to be the worlds best postpartum doula and gifted me meals and massage when I needed it most 

parkwaypediatrics for being the best pediatric team for my family 

ivf_adoption_mommy + mrsili_e + raisingnjbs for all the micro moments — from hands on support with breathing treatments and sharing weekly dinner meal plans so I didn’t have to think to picking up my every call so I could just word vomit

dr.briar I mean, DUH

brrrit also, DUH! but truly, for holding down the fort and wearing just about every hat I needed in every moment I needed it

We made it. We did it. We crushed it. But also…
