❄️ Universal Studios, 1972

Take a look back at an exterior snow set at Universal Studios more than 50 years ago.

The snow may not have been real, but that was all part of the magic of movie making. With the mountains rising behind the set, this photograph captures a fascinating glimpse of Universal’s history in 1972.

Historic photographs like this are exactly why we created the Cow Missing Archive to preserve, document, and share pieces of theme park and studio history before they disappear with time.
