#ThrowBackThursday on this #firstdayofwinter to one of the coldest days in #theMemorial history. Round 2 of the 1979 Memorial is known as “Ferocious Friday” after 30-mph wind gusts dropped the wind-chill factor to 13 degrees. Eventual winner tomwatson.pga’s score of 69 that day lives as one of the best rounds of golf ever played at #theMemorial.
