A woman is facing serious charges after police say she robbed and kidnapped a man who did not pay her for a hairstyling service.

Makayla Brown, 19, is in jail on charges of especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery after police arrested her on Thursday, Oct. 1.

Officers say a 23-year-old man told them Brown and several men got into his car and followed him as he tried different ATMs to pay her, but he had trouble withdrawing funds.

Police say the group then robbed him at gunpoint, took his phone and car keys, and dragged him into an apartment.
