BREAKING NEWS: Christa Pike’s attorneys have filed an emergency court motion asking Tennessee to preserve evidence from the Sept. 30 execution attempt that was not completed.

The filing alleges IV and medication-delivery failures and says Pike remained critically ill in a Nashville-area hospital. These are allegations from her attorneys, not court findings. 

TDOC has said it followed the state’s execution protocol and transported Pike to an off-site medical facility.
