Your first step into venture capital could start before you graduate. 

EPG is helping recruit students for the Fall 2026 cohort of the Appalachian Emerging Investors Fund (AEIF) — a program where Appalachian college students can learn venture capital, connect with professionals in the field, and gain exposure to real investment opportunities.

The best part? You do not need to be a finance major or have previous finance experience.

Through the 10-week virtual program, students can:

🎓 Earn a venture capital micro-credential
📈 Learn how real investment decisions are made
🤝 Learn from investors and entrepreneurs
💼 Build experience for their résumé
💰 Become eligible to apply for a paid Investment Analyst position during the spring semester

AEIF is a subsidiary of RIIF (Redefine Impact Investment Fund) and is supported by the Ford Foundation. The program is coordinated by Annie Forrest, Appalachian Ecosystem Manager at RIIF/Redefine Alliance, alongside participating Appalachian colleges and universities.
