His father drove an auto-rickshaw for 30 years. His son played cricket in slippers.

🏏 Mohammed Siraj | Cricket | India International

Mohammed Siraj didn’t grow up with an academy, expensive equipment, or a clear path into professional cricket.

His father was an auto-rickshaw driver, leaving home at 5 AM every day to provide for the family.

There wasn’t enough money for proper cricket shoes.

But there was something else: a parent who never made the lack of money the reason his son had to stop.

Years later, Siraj was bought in the IPL auction for around $390,000.

His first words to his father were simple “Now you can rest.”

Sometimes the biggest thing a parent can give a child isn’t money.

It’s the decision to keep making room for the dream before anyone knows whether it will work.

⁉️ What is the small, everyday sacrifice you’re making for your child’s future that nobody else sees? ⁉️

👩‍🔬 I spent years decoding what elite athlete parents actually did. The uncomfortable truth about how champions are really made.

🏘️🌴 It takes a strategic village to raise an athlete. This is your village. 🥇
