Students in Pennsylvania rushed to help after their school bus driver lost consciousness behind the wheel during a drop-off.

Newly released surveillance footage shows the bus continuing down a residential street as students shout for help and try to use the bus radio.

10th grader Alexis Smith then stepped in to stop the bus, call emergency services and check on the driver until help arrived.

Local officials have praised Smith for her quick thinking during the medical emergency.
