Eight gorgeous classic horror films to see on the big screen in Portland this October.

What if horror, but weird and beautiful? That's the trajectory of this month's Second Run Portland, which brings together eight films that skew creepy but stay visually arresting. Masahiro Shinoda’s eco-fable Demon Pond and Carl Theodor Dreyer’s Vampyr make the list.
