Russia will intensify strikes on Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Sunday. ⁣
⁣
It was in response to an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in which he vowed to increase attacks on Russian refineries.⁣
The ministry said Russian forces would step up attacks on military facilities, defense industry sites and related infrastructure in Kyiv and elsewhere in Ukraine.⁣
⁣
Zelenskyy said Ukraine would double down on attacking Russia's oil refineries following new airstrikes by Moscow designed to force people to abandon Kyiv and other cities. He added that Ukraine would not target civilians.⁣
⁣
Both Russia and Ukraine have always denied targeting civilians during the conflict.⁣
