Torrential downpours triggered severe flash flooding in the village of Madrigueras, in Spain’s Castilla-La Mancha region. ⁣
⁣
Raging floodwaters tore through roads, inundating low-lying properties, sweeping away parked vehicles as strong currents transformed streets into rivers.⁣
⁣
Emergency services were deployed to assist residents as water levels rose sharply. ⁣
⁣
Much of central and eastern Spain remains under active weather alerts, with authorities warning further intense rainfall could trigger additional flooding across affected regions.⁣
